The vertical Turbine centrifugal pump is designed according to NFPA20.
This pump is used for an underground water source whereby the water level is unclear the pump room. Moreover, the impellers are fully immersed in the water always maintaining prime. The pumps are driven by vertical electric motors or by diesel engines through a right-angle gearbox.
